The optional CASCO insurance of sea and river ships, as well as other vessels, floating plants and devices assimilated to ships
The ASTRA company insures CASCO for sea and river ships, in lei or in foreign currency, providing the Insured with money compensation for losses and damages occurring to insured ships, in the same currency as that in which the insurance premiums were paid.
This type of insurance may cover total loss, salvage expenses, damages and liability for collissions with third parties of ships, occuring due to the generation of the insured risks and it may be extended to cover risks of war and strike.
