ASTRA grants compensation for damage caused by:

• FIRE: fire explosion;
• ACTS OF GOD: lightning strike, flood, earthquake, land crash or slide, the weight of the snow/ice layer, avalanche, atmospheric phenomena; collision or crashing of an aircraft, of its parts or load, accidental falling objects on the insured assets (except for exploding or pyrotechnic materials and parts of the insured buildings/assets);
• Collision from the outside caused by vehicles (other than those owned by the Insured or the staff/agents thereof);
• shock wave generated by planes (sonic boom);
• acts of vandalism - the coverage of material and direct damages on the insured vehicle due to civil disturbances, riots, strikes and acts of vandalism (such as: scratching of the bodywork; breaking, damage of the windows, locks, cutting/puncturing of the tires);
• THEFT - consisting of:
  • the theft of the entire vehicle, including damages/destructions ascertained on the found vehicle;
  • the theft of components or parts of the vehicle (partial theft);
  • damages to the vehicle due to theft, attempted theft.

Within the limit of the insured amount, the Company will also compensate ADDITIONAL EXPENSES supported by the proper documents, incurred due to the occurrence of an insured event, on:

• the intervention of fire fighters for fire extinguishment, if the Insured is bound to pay them, by law;
• limiting the insured damage, by taking measures to salvage the vehicle or the building where it is located, due to the occurrence of an insured risk, if such expenses are strictly necessary and reasonably performed (expenses on the transport of the vehicle to the repair shop/domicile, due to the occurrence of an insured risk, do not fall in this category).
