Insurance of values for cases of theft by robbery of the carriers
The ASTRA company provides compensation for damages generated by theft performed by acts of violence or threats, under the conditions stipulated by art. 211 of the Criminal Code, on one or several carriers under the Insured’s service, in exercising their service as carriers.
This insurance is valid for the transport of values performed within the limits of the locality where the insured unit is headquartered or where it has its residence, or for transport between localities.
The insurance may be concluded:
- either with the nominal indication of each carrier and of the amounts for which insurance is performed for each carrier;
- or only by indicating the number of carriers and a global amount for which the insurance is concluded, in which case equal insured amounts shall be considered for each carrier.
