What to do in case of an accident or an illness occurring abroad if you hold medical insurance for traveling abroad, concluded with ASTRA?
In case of an unexpected accident or illness, the insurer shall immediately contact the alarm center of the CORIS tourist support company, at the following telephone number:
or the CORIS international offices specified in the list attached to the insurance policy;
The Insured shall inform the emergency dispatch service on the data in its insurance policy;
The Insurer shall grant compensations for the telephone expenses if the performance thereof shall be proven.
If the Insured cannot contact CORIS by phone prior to consulting a doctor or to going to hospital, it shall have to make this telephone call as soon as possible; in any of these cases, the Insured who has become a patient shall submit its insurance policy to the doctor or to the medical staff.
